Oak Park Trustee Susan Buchanan: “You Are a White Male! Shut Up!”

Oak Park trustee Susan Buchanan told her male colleagues, “you are a white male….so shut up!” during a board meeting on racial equity.

Buchanan, who is white, even lectured a Palestinian migrant, Oak Park Mayor Anan Abu-Taleb, telling him, “Your skin is light enough. Stop it!”

The outburst prompted a round of applause from citizens who attended the meeting.

“You have been white from birth,” Buchanan told fellow trustees Dan Moroney and Deno Andrews. “Why are you arguing what is a system of oppression? You’ve never experienced one, so shut up! I don’t want to hear from you! Just stop Dan, just stop Deno. You are not oppressed and people in Oak Park and we are trying to recognize that as a community.”

“We have a chance to make history. It is time for this community to face equity. Enough! And you stop it! You are a white male! You stop it, you are a white male!” she added.

The discussion was centered around a proposal to update the board’s diversity statement.

One of her colleagues tried to argue, commenting, “I think if we reduce these conversations to ‘nobody cares because you are a white male,’ I don’t think we’re doing this right.”

“I’m so tired of hearing two white men tell us what systems of oppression are,” Buchanan said. “This is like if you guys wanted to tell us what it’s like to have a menstrual cycle.”

Because in a meeting focused on anti-racism, it’s not hypocritical at all to silence someone because of their skin color.

Maybe Buchanan should take a look in the mirror before being so racist as to think she speaks for people of color.

“Had Buchanan been a conservative who held views like those of Patrick J. Buchanan, she would be hounded out of office for going on a “racist tirade” against a “Palestinian immigrant,” comments Chris Menahan.

“Had she made the same comments and replaced “white” with “black,” her outburst would be the top story in the country and she’d be facing criminal charges for ethnic intimidation.”

“Instead, because she’s a liberal white woman, the local media ran cover for her, the national media ignored the story, and she instead received applause and succeeded in forcing through her BS virtue signaling statement.”

Meanwhile, the whole farce reminds us of this classic…

BLM Teacher Says 2+2 Only = 4 Because of “Western Imperialism”

A Black Lives Matter-supporting teacher took to Twitter to assert that 2+2 only = 4 because of “western imperialism.”

Yes, really.

Brittany Marshall’s tweet went viral after she claimed during the course of a discussion about racism, “Nope the idea of 2 + 2 equaling 4 is cultural and because of western imperialism/colonization, we think of it as the only way of knowing.”

Marshall, who includes her pronouns in her bio, lists her occupation as “teacher, scholar, social justice change agent” and apparently is studying for a PhD at Rutgers.

Her bizarre statement is yet another example of Intersectionality, the pseudo-intellectual garbage feminist notion taught in all major universities that racism and sexism are prevalent throughout all areas of society and are intertwined.

In this case, Marshall appears to be arguing that maths itself is racist, an argument that has been made by numerous social justice warriors down the years, some of whom question why ‘Western Math’ is in common use and not other methods such as the way Aborigines count (maybe because we’re western and not Aborigine).

The notion that 2+2 might not = 4 is of course lifted from George Orwell’s 1984, when the one party state was able to torture dissidents into believing it could equal 5.

Respondents to the tweet expressed their varied opinions.

“Unfortunately it’s nothing new,” remarked one. “There are videos circulating showing black students promoting to stop science because it represents white supremacy. They would prefer magic and voodoo.”

“Scary thing is, this person is a teacher probably preaching the same nonsense to our children,” said another.

UK Estate Agents to Drop Term “Master Bedroom” to Placate Politically Correct Millennials

They claim it’s “racist,” even though term wasn’t used until nearly a hundred years after abolition of slavery.

Estate agents across the UK are set to stop using the term “master bedroom” in order to placate politically correct millennials who think such language is racist.

Yes, really.

Some property agents have decided to follow in the footsteps of US realtors, who are dropping the term “master” in listings as a sop to the Black Lives Matter movement.

The rooms will instead be described as “principle” or “primary” in the hope of warding off the potential anger of easily offended morons.

“These changes are being driven by political correctness and dramatic transformations in the buyer demographic across prime central London,” said Peter Wetherell of Wetherell estate agents in Mayfair.

“The typical buyers are now aged from their early twenties to their mid-forties and from all over the world. This young demographic tends to be very broad-minded and find any form of sexism or racism deeply offensive,” he added.

Perhaps living in fear of the same irate mob that tore down the Edward Colston statue and threw it in the river, David Westgate, the group chief executive of the Bristol-based estate agent chain, Andrews, said, “The sentiment behind the Black Lives Matter campaign has helped us all be more aware of our behaviour. We can all do more to make sure people are treated with respect.”

It is not known whether Westgate took a knee and profusely apologized for his white privilege while making that statement.

The director of Benham and Reeves estate agents in London, Marc von Grundherr, claims, “The word master does carry historically racist undertones.”

He’s wrong.

In reality, as Kurt Zindulka highlights, the phrase wasn’t in use in the United Kingdom until 1925, nearly a hundred years after slavery was officially abolished throughout the nation.

“The phrase master bedroom wasn’t used until the early 20th century,” said Trevor Abrahmson, the managing director of Glentree International. “If the woke liberal elite want to equate that with slaves and masters, that is ridiculous.”

Edward Heaton, the founder of Heaton & Partners, echoed Abrahmson’s sentiment, remarking, “It is ludicrous that we should be expected to ignore our history and heritage to placate a vociferous minority.”

Study Reveals That Easily Offended People Are Less Productive, Bad Employees

They “consume a lot of time complaining about trivial matters”

A study conducted by a Professor at San Diego State University has discovered that people who are easily offended make terrible employees because they never get anything done.

The study, conducted by Dr. Jeremy Berneth, involved asking almost 400 employees, aged 25.9 on average, across seven US colleges about different events that have recently gotten “substantial media attention”.

The study notes that the events consisted of “17 items developed to assess the proclivity to be offended, eight moral outrage items, 11 microagression items and nine political correctness items.”

It noted that some people have a high “proclivity to be offended” (PTBO), which the study describes as “a state-like tendency to be sensitive to customarily innocuous societal events and traditions,” for example “playing of the United States’ National Anthem.”

Those with a high PTBO have a “tendency to view an array of events and/or traditions as offensive.”

They also “are likely to feel that social events or traditions to which they take offense also violate moral or equitable standards,” the study notes.

Basically, they’re easily triggered by anything.

Dr Berneth found that high PTBOs are less productive, because they are constantly worrying about how the organisations they work for are “less fair,” than everywhere else, and they “consume a lot of time complaining about trivial matters.”

“The person offended by everyday occurrences diverts important and limited cognitive resources away from the client (and potential sale) towards a task-irrelevant stimuli.” the study notes.

The study also notes that the easily offended are less concerned with helping others, despite constantly engaging in virtual signalling to suggest that is their primary goal.

The study notes that while “their prescriptive morality dictates helping and providing for others”, they are actually less likely to engage in “citizenship behavior”.

The study noted that “PTBO negatively correlated with task performance and positively correlated with counterproductive work behaviors, suggesting not only that these individuals engage in fewer citizenship behaviors but also engage in behaviors managers and organizations want their employees to avoid.”
