Trump: “We Will Uphold The Right Of Free Speech” Against Social Media Giants

Published

on

“A free society cannot allow social media giants to silence the voices of the people”

In a rousing speech before the UN Tuesday, President Trump vowed to protect Americans’ free specch in the face of ‘assaults’ by social media companies.

“We must always be skeptical of those who want conformity and control,” said the President. “Even in free nations, we see alarming signs and new challenges to liberty.”

“A small number of social media platforms are acquiring immense power, over what we can see and over what we are allowed to say,” he continued.

“A permanent political class is openly disdainful, dismissive and defiant of the will of the people. A faceless bureaucracy operates in secret and weakens democratic rule. Media and academic institutions push flat-out assaults on our histories, traditions and values.” Trump added.

“In the United States, my administration has made clear to social media companies that we will uphold the right of free speech.” the President vowed.

“A free society cannot allow social media giants to silence the voices of the people. And a free people must never, ever be enlisted in the cause of silencing, coercing, canceling or blacklisting their own neighbors.” Trump urged, referencing the current trend of ‘cancel culture’.

While previous Presidents have apologized for America in front of the UN, Trump stated that he is proud to “have the immense privilege” of representing “a nation that prizes Liberty, independence, and self government for all.”

The President also hit out at open border activists, declaring that their policies are “not just,” but rather are “cruel and evil”.

Trump declared that globalism is dead, saying that “the future does not belong to globalists, the future belongs to patriots, the future belongs to sovereign and independent nations.”

“Globalism exerted a religious pull over past leaders causing them to ignore their own national interests, but as far as America is concerned, those days are over,” he said.

EU Vice President Orders British Flags Removed From Parliament After Rousing Farage Brexit Speech

Cuts Farage’s mic for ‘disobeying the rules’.

EU Vice-President Mairead McGuinness cut off Nigel Farage’s mic and ordered British flags to be removed from the European Parliament in a moment that was emblematic of why the UK voted to leave in the first place.

The incident occurred during the formal vote to rubber stamp Britain’s departure from the globalist body.

Farage gave a rousing speech to mark his final appearance in the chamber just two days before Brexit is finally completed on Friday.

“We love Europe, we just hate the European Union,” said Farage, labeling the EU an “anti-democratic” institution that gave technocrats “power without accountability.”

The Brexit Party leader then spoke of a “historic” battle taking place in the west.

“It is globalism against populism and you may loathe populism, but I’ll tell you a funny thing, it’s becoming very popular,” said Farage.

“I know you want to ban our national flags, but we’re going to wave you goodbye,” said Farage before his audio was cut.

Shortly after Brexit Party MEPs began waving the flags, McGuinness cut Farage’s microphone and ordered the Union Jacks to be removed.

“If you disobey the rules, you get cut off, could we please remove the flags,” said McGuinness.

And that in a nutshell is the very reason why Britain is leaving the EU.

40% of Countries in the World to Experience Civil Unrest in 2020

New report warns social disorder will become more intense.

Published

Nearly 40% of countries across the globe will see some form of civil unrest or riots in 2020, according to a new study.

Political analyst firm Verisk Maplecroft predicts that 75 out of the world’s 195 countries will see some form of social disorder this year.

That’s an increase on the 47 countries, about a quarter of the world’s total, that saw civil unrest in 2019.

The report predicts that the intensity of unrest is likely to be higher than 2019 due to the danger of protesters being on the receiving end of human rights abuses by authorities.

The study names major countries such as Russia, China, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Thailand and Brazil that are all likely to experience major social disorder.

It also warns corporations that they will be seen to be siding with authoritarianism unless they act responsibly in the affected countries.

“Companies are at substantial danger of complicity if they employ state or private security forces that perpetrate violations,” states the report.

As we previously highlighted, the end of globalization may bring with it a tumultuous decade that causes commodities like precious metals and real estate to soar.

Bank of America: Trend For 2020s Will be the “End of Globalization”

Countries to increasingly impose nationalist economic policies.

Published

on

Bank of America says that one of the dominant trends for the 2020s will be the “end of globalization” as countries increasingly realize that the phenomenon has brought unsustainable “social disruption.”

In a report mapping out what to expect over the next decade, BofA analysts said that largely unchecked globalization, which ran roughly from 1981-2016, “is coming to an end.”

This change will take place due to “the widespread recognition that while globalization has meant lower consumer prices, it has also meant slower growth, precarious employment and social disruption.”

This massive shift will make commodities like precious metals and real estate safer investment because governments will move to impose protectionist economic policies.

“Countries will develop explicit national industrial policies and boost spending on R&D to foster local innovation, protect nascent industries, and shield national champions from hostile foreign takeovers,” the analysts said.

The transhumanist pursuit of “immortality” will also come to the fore in the next decade, as will a new tech arms race between the U.S. and China, dubbed the “Splinternet.”

China will eventually win the race, allowing Beijing “to reach national superiority in technology over the long term vis-a-vis Quantum Computing, Big Data, 5G, Artificial Intelligence, Electric Vehicles, Robotics, and Cybersecurity.”

“Ubiquitous connectivity” will also change the fabric of society, according to the report, with the ‘Internet of things’ embedded into virtually every new physical product, a development that critics argue will create an omnipresent Minority Report-style mass surveillance grid.

Although the forecast is full of trepidation, the fact that globalism is coming to an end and that we will begin to see the possible reversal of mass immigration should offer hope for many on the right.
