Communist Chinese Quote Taylor Swift In Attack On President Trump

State media argues that Trump is bluffing with trade threats, cites pop star as evidence

Chinese state media used Taylor Swift’s criticism of President Trump this week to argue that Trump is bluffing about escalating the ongoing trade war.

The communist government mouth piece, The Global Times published a piece titled “Why Are the Chinese Brushing Aside Trump’s Tweets?” in which writer Mu Lu argues that the Chinese government isn’t worried about Trump warning that he could order American companies to move their production back to the United States with immediate effect.

“Many people were concerned they would have to suffer a downgraded lifestyle due to Trump’s tariff war against China as he described,” the article states, adding that Trump is surely bluffing because that move would “actually [be] damaging the interests of his own country and people.”

“He vowed to correct trade practices of China by imposing additional tariffs, saying China would pay to help the US make more money. But the truth is many American enterprises are suffering from the tariffs and Americans have to shoulder higher living costs.” the piece claims.

The writer then quotes singer Taylor Swift, who used the platform of the MTV awards and subsequent media interviews to accuse Trump of “gaslighting” those who disagree with him, and saying that she is “very remorseful” that she did not publicly endorse Hillary Clinton in 2016.

“The Chinese people are now aware that Trump would say something impulsively on Twitter regardless of a president’s code of conduct,” the communist propaganda piece argues, adding that “Grammy winner Taylor Swift said in an interview with The Guardianpublished on Friday, Trump is ‘gaslighting the American public into being like, ‘If you hate the president, you hate America.”

The piece also claims that because #TrumpGibberish trended recently on Twitter, it is proof that “Trump’s posts increasingly lack credibility.”

“Trump has turned Twitter into a stage for his political show, where he says things to gain votes for reelection. He repeats what he has done for the US – to provide Americans welfare, and to “make America great again,” it claims adding that “he is actually damaging the interests of his own country and people.”

Sheryl Crow Takes Brunt Of Backlash Defending ‘Try That In A Small Town’ Song

“The small town you’re from is okay with carjacking?”

Singer Sheryl Crow has found herself on the end of a wave of backlash after she joined in with leftists attempting to smear country star Jason Aldean as some kind of bigoted racist over his song ‘Try That In A Small Town’.

CMT pulled the video for Aldean’s song, which has since hit number one on the iTunes chart, after leftists complained that it featured footage of BLM riots and Antifa violence.

The general premise of the song is that rioting is bad and carjacking grannies wouldn’t fly in a tight knit community where morality still governs how civilised people act in society.

The meaning of the song was almost instantly warped by detractors who saw the BLM footage and claimed it was some sort of call for ‘modern day lynching’.

Enter Sheryl Crow, the apparent arbiter of everything country music, with this comment:

Oh dear.

Of course, in the face of all this, the song is now wildly popular:

A new Disney produced cartoon series is based around a cult of robed elites drinking blood, carrying out rituals including human sacrifice and worshipping an all seeing eye symbol.

However, it might not be entirely what you think.

While some have suggested it is more of the same weird indoctrination programming we’ve come to expect from Disney, the series aimed at adults is produced by Mike Judge, the creator of Idiocracy, King of The Hill and Beavis & Butthead, who is known for his anti-establishment contrarian outlook on the world we live in.

Here’s the trailer for Praise Petey which is set to premiere on July 21st on Freeform:

Maybe Mike Judge knew that the weirdos at Disney would go for some illuminati type stuff?

I mean, it’s going to be better than this tripe:

Video: Johnny Depp Trashes Hollywood, Cancel Culture And The Media

Says he refuses to “fall in line” like everyone else

Appearing in Cannes to promote his first movie since he was vindicated in a defamation trial against his uber-woke lying ex-wife, film star Johnny Depp spoke about rejecting Hollywood, refusing to “fall into line” to avoid being cancelled and how underhandedly hateful the media is.

Following the premiere of his new movie “Jeanne du Barry,” Depp received a seven-minute standing ovation from those in attendance at the Film festival.

However, it was Depp’s comments to reporters that peaked the interest of many.

When he was asked if he felt betrayed for being “boycotted” by Hollywood, Depp highlighted how the concept of innocent until proven guilty has simply been tossed aside.

“When you’re asked to resign from a film you’re doing because of something that is merely a function of vowels and consonants floating in the air, yes you feel boycotted,” he responded.

Depp continued, “Do I feel boycotted now? No, not at all. But I don’t feel boycotted because I don’t think about Hollywood. I don’t feel much further need for Hollywood — I don’t know about you.”

He then addressed the reality of cancel culture, noting “It’s a very strange, funny time where everybody would love to be able to be themselves. But they can’t. Because they must ‘fall in line’ with the person in front of them.”

“You wanna live that kind of life, I wish you the best,” Depp said, adding “I’ll be on the other side somewhere.”

    Watch:

Depp further addressed those who are referring to his latest work as a “comeback”, noting “I keep wondering about the word ‘comeback,’ because I didn’t go anywhere. I live about 45 minutes away … I’ve been sitting around. ‘Comeback’ is almost like I’m going to come out and do a tap dance — dance my best and hope you approve,” adding “they use it as a kind of catchphrase. ‘he’s making a comeback.’”

Depp also slammed the media, noting “The majority of you who have been reading for the last five or six years, with regards to me and my life — the majority of what you’ve read is fantastically, horrifically written fiction.”

He continued, “The fact is, we’re here to talk about the film. But it’s like asking the question, ‘How are you doing?’ But what’s underneath in the subtext is, ‘God, I hate you.’ That’s the sort of media thing.”

“All the stuff that you can stuff your shoes with – or line your parrot cage with — I mean it’s boring, isn’t it? Aren’t you guys sick of it by now? It’s weird,” Depp urged.

    Watch:

It’s refreshing to hear a talented artist saying what they really think, rather than acting completely fake and repeating/advocating for ‘the current thing’ in order to keep themselves elevated at the top of the vacuous entertainment industry scrum.
