ICE Director Blames ‘Political Rhetoric’ For Attack On San Antonio Office

After an Immigrations and Customs Enforcement office was hit with gunfire in San Antonio, the Director of the office issued a statement blaming ‘various politicians, media outlets and activist groups’.

The windows of the ICE office near Loop 410 and Nacogdoches Road were shattered by shots police believe were fired from across the freeway before 3am on Tuesday.

“Police said they took a man into custody who was found along Village Drive, not far from where the shooting occurred,” the San Antonio Express-News reported. “No injuries were reported from the shooting.”

“It is unclear whether the ICE office was targeted or if it was a random attack.” the report notes.

“Had the bullets gone two inches in another direction, we could be here today talking about the murder of a federal official,” FBI special agent Christopher Combs said.

The Field Director at the office, Daniel Bible, seems more certain however, that the attack was deliberate, and he’s blaming leftist anti-ICE rhetoric.

Bible notes that ‘misinformation’ about ICE is being ‘recklessly disseminated’ by certain politicians and activists.

“ICE officers put their lives on the line each and every day to keep our communities safe,” the statement said. “This disturbing public discourse shrouds our critical law enforcement function and unnecessarily puts our officers’ safety at risk.”

Bible’s condemnation is clearly aimed at Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (NY), who has declared that ICE facilities on the border are ‘concentration camps’.

The same rhetoric has been used by Antifa affiliated individuals, in particular the terrorist who attempted to kill ICE workers at a Tacoma, WA facility last month.

“We cannot allow political discourse to lead us to the point of violence, where federal employees, innocent people doing their jobs, are put in harm’s way,” added agent Combs.

AOC has yet to comment on the ICE shooting.

Instead, she’s tweeting about pockets and left handed day.

Says Speaker is “bone deep down to the marrow foolish”

GOP Senator John Kennedy used a startling cultural reference to portray his belief that believes Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi is crazy, saying that he often thinks she has ‘is one of those people who tried Tide Pods’ laundry detergent.

Appearing with Sean Hannity, Kennedy was addressing Pelosi’s obsession with the $3.4 trillion coronavirus bill.

“Sean, with respect, there are times, particularly recently, when I think Speaker Pelosi is one of those people who tried Tide pods,” Kennedy hilariously stated.

“I want you to think about what she proposed today, this is what the speaker is threatening to do,” he continued, adding “She is threatening to keep the House Democrats in session and prevent them from going home and running for reelection unless the Senate Republicans agree to the speaker’s $3.4 trillion coronavirus bill.”

“On the one hand we can vote for Pelosi’s $3.4 trillion bill or we can agree to allow her to put the House Democratic majority into jeopardy. That’s just bone deep down to the marrow foolish,” Kennedy urged.

Kennedy further emphasised that Nothing is going to get done while the Democrats refuse to back down over something that is never going to come to fruition.

“Senator Schumer and Speaker Pelosi aren’t going to agree to anything until we agree to spend a trillion dollars bailing out New York and California and that’s not going to happen in your or my natural life,” Kennedy added.

Kennedy’s assessment of Pelosi’s sanity comes on the heels of Mad Money Host Jim Cramer calling Pelosi “crazy Nanncy” right to her face, before instantly apologising:

Report: Biden Lawyers Up In Preparation For “Extended Legal Battle” Election

Democrats are not going to accept the election result if Trump wins

The New York Times is reporting that Joe Biden has hired hundreds of lawyers, including two former solicitor generals, and has created an entire legal division to fight an extended battle after the election.

The report notes that Bob Bauer, a former White House Counsel under Obama will help oversee the operation, with Donald Verrilli Jr. and Walter Dellinger, the two former solicitors general, heading up Biden’s “special litigation” unit:

The report also notes that Biden has employed hundreds of independent law firms, with former Attorney General Eric Holder serving as a liaison between them and the campaign.

The stated aims of the unit are to “combat voter suppression,” “guard against foreign interference,” as well as ensuring “voters cast their ballots correctly.”

“There are some unique challenges this year,” Bauer told the the Times, adding that “We’re not going to get caught up in alarmist rhetoric they [the Trump campaign] are using to scare voters.”

“The constant return to the issue of fraud is itself a voter suppression tool,” he added.

The move plays into the Democratic narrative that Biden will win the election over a long drawn out period, and that President Trump will try to claim a quick victory and even refuse to leave the White House.

The narrative has been pushed hard by the likes of the Clintons, who have repeatedly urged Biden not to concede defeat under any circumstances.

In reality, new polls indicate that Trump has a huge lead:

This also jives with the paltry numbers seen attending Biden rallies:

All indications are that Trump will win on election day, yet the Democrats will refuse to accept the result:
