2019 Data Shows 51% of Mass Shooters Were Black, Only 29% Were White

When gang-related shootings are included, white people are underrepresented.

Published

on

Data from Mass Shooting Tracker, a source widely used by the media, reveals that 51% of mass shooters in 2019 were black, 29% were white, and 11% were Latino, contradicting the media narrative that white people are overrepresented in mass shootings.

Investigative journalist Daniel Greenfield gathered the crucial data which confirms that mass shootings are not a “white man’s” problem.

He points out that while blanket media attention was focused on the shootings in El Paso and Dayton, 60 people were shot in Chicago over the weekend while Baltimore just reached its 200th murder victim of the year.

Greenfield then quotes Rep. Ilhan Omar, CNN’s Don Lemon and Newsweek, who have all claimed that white people are the biggest mass shooter threat and have carried out more mass shootings than any other group.

But that doesn’t appear to be the case for 2019.

“Looking at the data from the Mass Shooting Tracker, widely utilized by the media, as of this writing, of the 72 mass shooters, perpetrators in shootings that killed or wounded 4 or more people, whose race is known, 21 were white, 37 were black, 8 were Latino, and 6 were members of other groups,” writes Greenfield

“51% of mass shooters in 2019 were black, 29% were white, and 11% were Latino. Three mass shooters were Asian, two were American Indian and one was Arab.”

Many mass shootings in predominantly black areas that claimed black victims also remain unsolved, meaning the figures are if anything “vastly understated.”

The white population of the U.S. is around 61 per cent, African-Americans make up just shy of 13 per cent and Hispanics around 18 per cent.

Most mass shootings (where there are 4 or more victims) are gang-related shootings. By excising these shootings from the record, the media is able to pin the blame on white people.

Separate stats compiled by Statista of mass shootings between 1982 and August 2019 in the United States show that mass shootings by ethnicity and race are broadly in line with demographics, meaning white people are not overrepresented as mass shooters.

There are “no clear patterns between the socio-economic or cultural background of mass shooters,” according to Statista.

None of this matters of course because facts stopped being important years ago and everything is based on narrative and emotion.

Nearly Half of U.S. Murders Now Going Unsolved

Anti-police BLM protests partly to blame.

Nearly half of murders in the U.S. now go unsolved, with the majority going unsolved in the last seven months of 2020, a phenomenon partly caused by anti-police BLM protests.

The shining achievement of Black Lives Matter may ironically be its role in preventing murdered black people from getting justice.

“A review of FBI statistics shows that the murder clearance rate — the share of cases each year that are solved, meaning police make an arrest or close the case due to other reasons — has fallen to its lowest point in more than half a century,” reports CBS News.

“It’s a 50-50 coin flip,” says Thomas Hargrove, who runs the Murder Accountability Project, which tracks unsolved murders nationwide. “It’s never been this bad. During the last seven months of 2020, most murders went unsolved. That’s never happened before in America.”

The article notes that murders of white people are 50% more likely to be solved than murders of black people, although any suggestion that ‘white privilege’ is to blame can be dismissed entirely.

The piece acknowledges that police are finding it harder to receive tips or get information from witnesses due to black people having bad attitudes towards law enforcement.

“Police are also contending with a breakdown in trust between their officers and the communities they serve, a result of decades of tensions that spilled over during high-profile cases of police misconduct in recent years,” states the article.

There are also fewer police when it comes to patrolling or quickly responding to murders in high crime areas due to the longstanding ‘Ferguson Effect’ – something also created by BLM demonstrators.

“Gee, I wonder what could have caused this breakdown in trust?” asks Chris Menahan.

“Was there some sort of “Movement” in 2020 that came to a head which said police are all evil white racists who are oppressing black people for no reason whatsoever other than the color of their skin?”

“Did police and the FBI decide to take a knee and blame white people for all of society’s ills rather than address our serious “inner city” crime problem?”

Even as violent crime continued to spiral across America, the federal government also wasted resources on tackling the supposed scourge of “white supremacy.

The entire Black Lives Matter movement appears to have achieved little more than dividing America and making the country less safe for black people.

“They Fall Silent”: Media Criticized For Not Caring About Church Mass Shooting Carried Out by Chinese Gunman

“Don’t see major Asian NGOs commenting on this.”

Published

Orange County PD

The legacy media and NGOs are facing criticism for largely ignoring another mass shooting over the weekend at a church in Laguna Woods which was carried out by a Chinese-born gunman who targeted Taiwanese people.

68-year-old David Chou drove to Orange County to attend a a lunch held by Irvine Taiwanese Presbyterian Church at the Geneva Presbyterian Church in the community of Laguna Woods.

After chaining shut the doors of the church and placing numerous firebombs, Chou opened fire on a gathering of mainly of elderly Taiwanese parishioners.

It was only due to the heroism of one man who tackled Chou, 52-year-old Dr. John Cheng, that more people weren’t killed. Only Cheng lost his life during the attack in the process of saving the lives of dozens of others.

It was later confirmed that the gunman had deliberately targeted Taiwanese people in a “politically motivated hate incident” because he was upset over Taiwan’s stance towards China.

You’d think the story would have garnered more media attention, but it has received barely a blip of coverage.

According to the Intercept’s Lee Fang, this is because the media can’t pigeon hole what happened into their feverish obsession with white supremacy.

“Don’t see major Asian NGOs commenting on this, even though the attacker was motivated by racialized hate,” Fang wrote on Twitter. “Any time there’s a hate crime that has a bit of moral complexity that falls outside of simplistic oppressor-oppressed narratives, they fall silent.”

“It will be interesting to see whether the FBI dedicates as many resources to investigating this shooting as the one in Buffalo,” commented Chris Menahan.

The media’s penchant to devote wall to wall coverage of mass shootings carried out by white men, while largely ignoring and crafting false narratives around massacres carried out by non-whites, was particularly evident after the Waukesha massacre.

As we highlighted earlier, President Biden is facing criticism for immediately announcing he will visit the scene of the Buffalo mass shooting, having failed to pay a visit to victims of the Christmas parade attack.

Queen’s First Reaction to Diana’s Death: “Someone Must Have Greased the Brakes”

Staff were “shocked and puzzled.”

Published

The Queen’s first reaction to hearing the news of Princess Diana’s death in a car crash was to assert that, “someone must have greased the brakes,” according to a new book.

The sensational claim appears in Andrew Morton’s ‘The Queen’, which is being serialised in the Daily Mail newspaper.

Diana was killed in an August 1997 car crash that took place in the Pont de l’Alma tunnel in Paris while her driver was trying to speed away from pursuing paparazzi.

Queen Elizabeth was reportedly informed that Diana had suffered only a broken arm and had walked away from the accident, to which she responded, “Someone must have greased the brakes.”

According to Morton, the Queen’s reaction “shocked and puzzled her staff, who’d rarely heard her use such colloquial language.”

“Was the Queen implying that Diana had been a target?” asks Morton.

The official explanation is that the accident was caused by a combination of dangerous driving and Henri Paul being over the limit. However, conspiracy theories surrounding the car crash have raged virtually since the night it happened.

Questions about why surveillance cameras in the tunnel failed, the potential involvement of a white Fiat Uno, a strange flash that occurred before the accident, and why it took so long to get Diana to a hospital are often asked.

Innumerable theories as to the motive behind Diana possibly being killed as a result of a Royal Family conspiracy have circulated over the years, including concerns that her boyfriend Dodi Fayed, a Muslim, would taint their bloodline.

Such theories were bolstered in 2007, when a handwritten letter written by Diana sent to her butler Paul Burrel was revealed in which Diana claimed that Prince Charles was plotting to kill her.

Diana claimed her husband was “planning an accident in my car,” according to the letter, which was written in October 1993.

The two documentaries embedded below explore some of the alternative explanations behind the alleged accident.
