Procter & Gamble Loses $5 Billion Dollars Following ‘Woke’ Gillette Ad Campaign

Procter & Gamble has reported a net loss of $5.24 billion, prompting speculation as to whether a boycott of the company’s Gillette shaving products after a divisive ‘woke’ ad campaign hit the company’s bottom line.

The ad, entitled ‘We Believe’, was released in January. It asked men to “shave their toxic masculinity,” while blaming an entire gender for the actions of a small percentage of sexual abusers, rapists and perverts.

The commercial alternated between echoing glib feminist talking points and bashing men, while also featuring a clip from left-wing news outlet The Young Turks.

The ad was so despised, it went on to become one of the most hated ads in Internet history.

It has now been revealed that Procter & Gamble took an $8 billion writedown on its Gillette shaving business, contributing to “a net loss of about $5.24 billion, or $2.12 per share, for the quarter ended June 30.”

P&G claims the writedown is “due primarily to foreign exchange fluctuations, increased competition and a contracting market for blades and razors as consumers in developed markets shave less frequently.”

But how much of that “increased competition,” from the likes of Harry’s and Dollar Shave Club, was thanks to customers abandoning Gillette after their man-bashing commercial?

Sales were already on the decline back in April, but the following month Gillette released yet another ‘woke’ commercial in which a dad taught his transgender son to shave for the first time.

If P&G wants to halt the slide it may have to seriously reconsider alienating a huge chunk of its customer base with identity politics nonsense.

Seth Meyers Inadvertently Admits ‘Orange Man Bad’ Jokes Are Lazy and Boring

Comedian Seth Meyers inadvertently admitted that his relentless ‘Orange Man Bad’ jokes about President Trump are getting stale and boring.

For his new Netflix special, Meyers will offer viewers a feature that allows them to skip quips about Trump.

“It dawned on me that because it was on Netflix, there would be this opportunity to put in technology that would allow people to skip it,” he told CNN Business. “It was away to build in the response to anyone who would say, ‘Oh, let me guess there’s going to be jokes about the president.’”

Myers added that he didn’t think many people would use the skip feature, which makes sense because Trump supporters are unlikely to form a large part of his fanbase.

However, the mere fact that one exists is an admission on Meyers’ part that his ‘Orange Man Bad’ routine is getting tedious.

For his special, Meyers said there wouldn’t be much content about Trump or politics, which makes a change from his late night show which is almost exclusively filled with Trump Derangement Syndrome.

The quality of comedy has drastically plunged in recent years thanks to political correctness and liberals playing it safe because they are so petrified of offending people.

PewDiePie is More Popular Amongst Zoomers Than LeBron James

PewDiePie is more popular than LeBron James amongst Gen Z according to a new poll, proving that all the negative press attention the YouTuber received has had little effect.

The Morning Consult survey found that PewDiePie and LeBron James had the same name recognition amongst zoomers (95%), but more of them (62%) have a favorable view of PewDiePie than James (55%).

Meanwhile, Justin Bieber had a favorability rating amongst zoomers of just 18%.

The study also found that Gen Z consumers trust online influencers as spokespeople eight percentage points higher than celebrities

James attracted heat last month when he suggested that people shouldn’t criticize China by expressing sympathy for the Hong Kong protesters.

Following Houston Rockets General Manager Daryl Morey tweeting his support for the Hong Kong protesters, James said that Morey “wasn’t educated on the situation at hand and he spoke.”

Siding with his Communist paymasters, who forced the NBA into a groveling apology after Morey’s tweet, the basketball star added that free speech had negative “ramifications.”

Zoomers have spoken; Despite relentless media attacks on his character, free speech warrior PewDiePie is more loved than Commie sympathizer LeBron!
