The Sun is entering a period of “solar minimum” that could cause temperatures to plummet by up to 2C over 20 years and trigger a global famine, according to experts.

Solar activity has entered a deep decline with scientists saying there have already been 100 days this year where the sun has displayed zero sunspots.

NASA boffins say this means that the earth could be about to experience a new “Dalton Minimum,” the period between 1790 and 1830 which led to a severe prolonged cold snap and massive volcanic eruptions.

“This means were could be entering one of the deepest period of sunshine recession which could trigger long periods of cold, famine and other issues,” reports the Daily Star.

The Sun has now recorded two consecutive years of record setting spotlessness, being blank 77% of the time in 2019 and 76% of the time so far this year.

This means a deep solar minimum is coming which will cause temperatures to drop drastically.

This once again serves as a reminder that the Sun is by far the most influential driver of climate and makes the impact of so-called man-made climate change look tame in comparison.

Facebook is setting up an advocacy group in Washington DC with the sole aim of preventing the US government from regulating the company. The lobbying group will claim that big tech is (vomit bags at the ready) “essential to the future of free speech.”

The details were revealed in a Washington Post report which details how the group, to be called ‘American Edge’ will spend millions in advertising and political greasing to prevent regulation.

“The setup essentially allows it to navigate a thicket of tax laws in such a way that it can raise money, and blitz the airwaves with ads, without the obligation of disclosing all of its donors.” the report states.

The Post also states that the lobbying effort will involve arguments that “strong restrictions imposed on tech giants could hurt US firms and ultimately serve to aid their competitors, particularly in China.”

Confirming its involvement to the Post, Facebook claimed that the lobbying group will “help build support for our industry.”

Facebook is desperate to avoid regulation because it would mean an entire overhaul of its business structure.

The company is currently facing an antitrust probe in addition to several lawsuits from companies and individuals all over the world accusing the social media network of politically motivated censorship.

Facebook has shown time after time that it is a politically partisan organisation, and as such should be subject to oversight, critics have argued.

Last week it was revealed that one of Facebook’s new “content oversight board” members who will decide what information is censored by the social media giant is Pamela Karlan, a leftist who infamously made Barron Trump the punch line of a joke.

Another member of the company’s new censorship council is a pro-Muslim Brotherhood Yemeni activist who became one of the faces of the Arab Spring uprising in 2011.

2. Facebook’s decision undermines its claim that posts won’t be censored for partisan political reasons.

Karlan testified that “President Trump must be held to account.”

Facebook has also recently been banning ‘misinformation’ about the coronavirus, as determined by someone who previously worked in the Wuhan bio-lab.

Facebook’s every move is designed to satiate a rabid obsession with controlling society. The fact that the company is arguing it is defending free speech in doing so is insidiously Orwellian.

As PC plods in the UK and keystone cops in the US continue to bumble around trying to operate Chinese made drones, numerous tech companies are developing more sophisticated tools that will allow big brother law enforcement to more effectively police social distancing rules.

Californian software developer Landing AI has created video surveillance software that watches people and sounds the alarm if they get too close to one another.

“Landing AI has developed an AI-enabled social distancing detection tool that can detect if people are keeping a safe distance from each other by analyzing real-time video streams from the camera,” the company proudly boasts in a statement.

Landing AI explain that the system works by using an artificial ‘neural network’ to detect each person and puts them (oh the irony) in a box. Then, if two boxes get too close to each other they change from green to red. At that point it will be up to the police to send in compliance robots, kill squads, or whatever they have decided we deserve.

A similar technology is already being introduced by Amazon in its warehouses, with the company threatening workers with the sack, if they violate social distancing “guidelines”.

Police in Westport, Connecticut are also going to be testing a “pandemic drone” that monitors citizens’ temperatures from almost 200 feet away and detects sneezing and coughing as well as heart and breathing rates.

Developed by Draganfly Inc., the software loaded onto the drone cameras also identifies individuals, whose safe distance areas turn red if they get too close to each other.

With the justification of the Chinese coronavirus now firmly embedded in society, there is a rush on to profit from stripping away privacy and personal freedoms.
