AOC Photographer Demands Removal of Images Showing Congresswoman Crying Over Nothing
Legal threat came after stunt was condemned as a misleading photo-op.

Published
3 years agoon

The photographer who took the photos of Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez appearing to cry at a protest outside a “tent city” in Tornillo, Texas demanded the removal of the images after it was revealed that AOC was actually crying over little more than a few police officers and an empty parking lot as part of a stunt.
Earlier this week, we highlighted the fact that Ocasio-Cortez was clearly trying to mislead the public when she tweeted, “I saw with my own eyes” America was “becoming a nation that steals refugee children from their parents, & caged them.”
I’ll never forget this, because it was the moment I saw with my own eyes that the America I love was becoming a nation that steals refugee children from their parents,& caged them.
More kids died after this. To date, no one has been held accountable.
We need to save these kids. https://t.co/HhdMqc5zML
— Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (@AOC) June 25, 2019
Numerous other photos taken at the scene show that there was no “tent city” or any detained children in AOC’s view. Her emotional reaction to precisely nothing illustrates how the entire stunt was part of a photo-op designed to emotionally manipulate the public.
So, it is purely staged. Notice all her photos are at an angle among the fence & not through the fence. How poignant would it have been to show migrant children trapped in the other side of the fence from Sandy Cortez? So why didn’t they? There was nothing but a building & road! pic.twitter.com/AbJaw2n1Vq

Two days after Infowars published the article, photographer Ivan Pierre Aguirre, who shot and tweeted four images from the event that AOC subsequently retweeted, demanded the images be removed.
“I did not give you or Info Wars or @PrisonPlanet permission to use the photos I have a copyright on for your stories,” tweeted Aguirre. “This is a take down notice. Thank you.”
Infowars removed the images as a result of the request and replaced them with similar photos taken by others who were at the protest.

However, Aguirre’s photos are clearly in the public interest given that they concern a sitting member of Congress and have been re-produced everywhere after he personally made them public via Twitter.
It seems very odd that Aguirre and Ocasio-Cortez would decide to publish the photos to garner attention, but then demand they be removed when the narrative behind them comes under scrutiny.
Snopes and others have since tried to assert that it’s erroneous to claim AOC was crying over an empty parking lot. In reality, once again it’s Snopes who are deliberately publishing fake news.
In her original tweet about the photos, Ocasio-Cortez said, “I saw with my own eyes that the America I love was becoming a nation that steals refugee children from their parents, & caged them.”
The clear implication was that she was looking at detained migrant children, when in reality the only thing immediately beyond the fence was a handful of bored police officers and their vehicles.
People who saw the images also presumed that AOC was crying over caged children, with one commenting, “I feel her emotions in every single picture. Especially that last one. It’s pure anger, and how can one not feel anger after seeing what she saw?”

What she “saw” was a vast empty space along with a smattering of other activists feigning emotion over nothing. The protest was attended by over a dozen celebrities as part of a photo-op.
If a Republican Congressman had posted photos of himself crying outside a Planned Parenthood facility, only for it to subsequently be revealed that there was no such facility within view, leftists would call that a stunt or a photo-op.
AOC clearly engaged in a carefully staged photo-op and no amount of feigned righteous indignation or threats to remove evidence will change that patent fact.
I try to stay outta politics on twitter and in general honestly. We all have opinions and voices that we want to express, I get it. But that inept Cortez lady was pandering photos of herself crying over immigrants behind chain link fences was a facade. pic.twitter.com/kHPmNV0yms

“I Don’t Believe in Censoring Art”: Paramount CEO Rejects Trigger Warnings
“You don’t have to watch anything you don’t want to.”

Paramount CEO Bob Bakish has refused to add trigger warnings to the company’s historical content, asserting, “I don’t believe in censoring art.”
Bakish says the back catalogue for the film studio’s new subscription streaming service Paramount+ will not be censored to please modern politically correct sensibilities.
“By definition, you have some things that were made in a different time and reflect different sensibilities,” Bakish said.
“I don’t believe in censoring art that was made historically, that’s probably a mistake. It’s all on-demand – you don’t have to watch anything you don’t want to.”
As we have previously highlighted, other streaming platforms and broadcasters have censored or outright deleted old shows and movies for containing so-called ‘offensive’ content.
Earlier this year, UK streaming platform ITV Player censored a “homophobic” line from the 2002 Spiderman movie when Spiderman says to Bonesaw, “That’s a cute outfit. Did your husband give it to you?”
During the height of the 2020 Black Lives Matter riots, UK broadcaster Sky also tagged numerous movies, some little over a decade old, with a message warning viewers that they might be offensive.
“This film has outdated attitudes, language and cultural depictions which may cause offence today,” stated the trigger warning.
During the same year, PBS removed Gone With the Wind from its platform, in the process erasing the first black female actress to win an Oscar, while the BBC also announced it was removing Little Britain from its schedule despite the fact that the TV comedy series satirizes every demographic, often highlighting small minded attitudes of bigots.
Last year, NBC also announced that it was scanning 17,000 hours of past WWE content to weed out “racist” material in order to avoid it appearing on the network’s new Peacock streaming device.
Iconic historical books are also being re-written to reflect ‘modern attitudes’, including George Orwell’s 1984.

Spotify Censors Rapper For Criticizing Pride Month
“You can rap about killing people all day and be fine though.”

Spotify has censored a song by rapper Bryson Gray in which he criticizes gay pride month, with song having been ‘greyed out’ by the streaming giant and made unavailable for download.
The pro-Trump rapper released the song ‘Pride Month’ on June 1st to coincide with the start of the annual period that recognizes the LGBT movement.
“In the song, Gray criticises the LGBT community from a Christian perspective, rapping about transgender activists pushing children onto puberty blockers at twelve years old, the promotion of LGBT motifs by media such as Netflix, and other topics,” writes Jack Hadfield.
The lyrics to the song reference bible verses about homosexuality.
Real Christ Gang
I don’t recognize no pride month
Revelation twenty one eight, you thought He lied huh?
What happened to Sodom and Gomorrah?
They all fried huh?
Y’all keep disrespecting Yah like He won’t slide huh?
I’m just tryna make it in them Heaven gates
Repent and turn from sin or be reprobate
Pride a deadly sin but y’all celebrate
If you don’t become new then only Hell awaits
After being on the platform for 2 weeks, Gray revealed that Spotify had censored the song by removing it completely from his artist page.
Spotify has banned my song “Pride Month” from Spotify. I am the ONLY music artist that this happens too without any resolution. The most banned artist on the country.

“I am the ONLY music artist that this happens to without any resolution,” complained Gray.
The rapper noted how his song had been censored for ‘homophobia’ and yet tracks released by best selling artists like Eminem DMX, and Kendrick Lamar which contain brazen homophobic slurs remained untouched.
“Eminem made a song called ‘Fall,’ which was on his Kamikaze album a few years ago, and in the song he calls Tyler the Creator the word that gay people hate, the f-word… It’s right here, free to listen to. How about the other songs where Eminem said the same exact word? Like, the ‘Marshall Mathers’ song, or how about his song, ‘Rap God,’ where he literally says he will break a table over the head of the f-word that you can’t say. Nope, you can listen to that song too! And I didn’t even say that word,” said Gray.

Gray also noted how other rappers are allowed to spew all kinds of violent rhetoric, but as soon as someone starts quoting the bible, it’s curtains.
“A lot of these artists cry about censorship but never actually experience censorship,” Gray tweeted. “You want to truly experience it? Start making biblical music. You can rap about killing people all day and be fine though.”

Last year, the streaming platform banned a song called Safe Space that literally opens with the line “they might ban me for this song,” because it contained lyrics critical of the LGBT movement and BLM.
Spotify also previously censored a song by indie music legend Ian Brown for lyrics containing “misinformation”. The lyrics referred to COVID lockdowns and the new world order.

Top ‘Fact Checker’ USA Today Forced to Delete Articles Over Fabricated Sources
Should have fact checked itself more rigorously.

Published

17 June, 2022
USA Today, which is used as a ‘fact checker’ by social media platforms, was forced to delete 23 articles from its website after an investigation found one of its reporters had fabricated sources.
Well, this is awkward.
The news outlet has an entire section of its website dedicated to ‘fact checking’ and is used by Facebook to ‘fact check’ stories published by other outlets, downranking them in algorithms in a form of soft censorship.
However, it appears as though USA Today should have devoted more resources to fact checking itself before publishing articles by its own staff.
“USA Today’s breaking news reporter Gabriela Miranda fabricated sources and misappropriated quotes for stories, the news outlet confirmed on Thursday. The outlet conducted an internal audit after receiving an “external correction request” on one of its published stories,” reports Breitbart.
The 23 articles which were removed for not meeting the paper’s “editorial standards” included pieces on the Texas abortion ban, anti-vaxxer content and Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.
Miranda, who has now resigned from her position, “took steps to deceive investigators by producing false evidence of her news gathering, including recordings of interviews,” according to the New York Times.
“After receiving an external correction request, USA TODAY audited the reporting work of Gabriela Miranda. The audit revealed that some individuals quoted were not affiliated with the organizations claimed and appeared to be fabricated. The existence of other individuals quoted could not be independently verified. In addition, some stories included quotes that should have been credited to others.”
As we previously highlighted, USA Today was also forced to hastily delete a series of tweets which critics said were tantamount to the normalization of pedophilia after the newspaper cited “science” to assert that pedophilia was “determined in the womb.”
The newspaper was also lambasted by critics after it ‘fact checked’ as “true” claims that an official Trump 2020 t-shirt features a ‘Nazi symbol’.
In February last year, the news outlet published an op-ed which denounced Tom Brady for refusing to walk back his previous support for Donald Trump and for being “white.”
The newspaper also had to fire their ‘race and inclusion’ editor Hemal Jhaveri after she falsely blamed the Boulder supermarket shooting on white people.
In summary, USA Today has a severe bias problem and shouldn’t be used as a non-partisan ‘fact checker’.
