NY Times Hit Piece Blamed Muslim Immigrant for ‘Radicalizing’ YouTube Viewer Into Hating Muslim Immigrants

The New York Times hit piece that blamed right-wing YouTubers for radicalizing Caleb Cain into hating “Muslim immigrants” included as one of its targets a Muslim immigrant.

Yes, really.

According to Kevin Roose’s NY Times piece, Cain watched videos that “convinced him that Western civilization was under threat from Muslim immigrants”.

Three of those videos were produced by Mimi Al-Laham, a Muslim immigrant living in Australia.

“I am a Muslim immigrant, so the writer of this article Kevin Roose is implying that I somehow caused Caleb to hate myself,” said Al-Laham.

“How such videos could have contributed towards Caleb hating Muslim immigrants makes no sense unless the author Kevin Roose is implying that the very sight of a Muslim immigrant like myself could cause hatred,” she added.

Al-Laham reached out to Cain, who acknowledged that her videos played no role in ‘radicalizing’ him or making him hate Muslim immigrants.

This absurd contradiction illustrates how the article was intended as a broad effort to smear as many dissident voices as possible in an attempt to pressure YouTube into deplatforming them.

Syrian Girl’s content is primarily focused on opposing foreign interventionism in Syria, which led to Islamic jihadists being trained and armed by the west – something that the New York Times promoted at every turn.

As we highlight in the video below, the entire premise of the article – that Cain was radicalized by YouTube videos into becoming ‘Alt-Right’ – is completely undermined by the fact that Cain admits he was never ‘Alt-Right’.

In reality, YouTube’s algorithm eventually led to Cain watching videos with a left-wing bias, meaning that if anything he was radicalized to become a leftist.

Infowars Settles Pepe the Frog Lawsuit, Pays Tiny Settlement to Creator Matt Furie

Strategic victory for Alex Jones after Furie demanded over $2 million in damages.

Infowars has settled the Pepe the Frog lawsuit with creator Matt Furie for a “licensing fee” of just $15,000, a tiny amount considering Furie’s lawyers had demanded over $2 million in damages.

Last year, Furie alleged that Infowars was responsible for copyright violation over a stylized poster sold on the Infowars website created by a third party which featured a small depiction of the cartoon frog that became a mascot for the Trump campaign during 2016.

The judge in the case ruled that Furie wouldn’t be expected to obtain anything more than $14,000 in legal fees, so Furie’s lawyers sought a settlement of just $15,000.

Although the media attempted to hype the case by accusing Alex Jones of contributing to the notion of the Pepe meme as a symbol of white supremacy, the cartoon frog was actually just a small part of the original poster, which featured numerous other iconic images linked to the 2016 Trump campaign.

The corporate press will undoubtedly frame this as a victory for Furie. It wasn’t. The result clearly represents a strategic victory for Alex Jones.

The Pepe creator and his legal team – Hillary Clinton’s law firm – were looking for a jury trial and over $2 million dollars in damage, but ended up with a relatively tiny settlement. Jones also saved hundreds of thousands in potential legal fees.

According to lawyer Robert Barnes, acting on behalf of Free Speech Systems, Furie “may have spent over a million in legal fees,” rendering the eventual outcome a huge defeat for the Pepe creator.

Furie’s argument was probably not helped by the fact that in a 2015 interview with the Daily Dot about Pepe the Frog, he openly invited anyone to “profit off of” his creation.

Statement from lawyer Robert Barnes;

“Happy to announce the folks suing Infowars over Pepe the Frog have agreed to settle, and accept a licensing fee of $15,000. We were originally sued for millions. Some people thought we wouldn’t fight the case. We did. We would only pay an honest licensing fee, and nothing more.

The other side may have spent over a million in legal fees themselves. They wanted millions. They thought we wouldn’t fight. They thought we wouldn’t win in court. They thought wrong.

We will always stand up for the rights of the people, and will never be bullied by lawsuits, even those brought by big corporate law firms with $1000/hour lawyers. They would have made more money if they went and waitressed with Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez for a few months. So, the Pepe trial is over. We made our point.”

Bill Maher: ‘We’re All Politically Incorrect in Private’

Liberal host says social media turns people into robots.

During a chat with American Psycho author Bret Easton Ellis on his Real Time show, host Bill Maher noted that everyone is “politically incorrect” during private conversations and that social media just makes everyone sound like robots.

Maher made the point that “social justice warriors” do not actually care about justice and are actually in pursuit of clicks.

“Here’s what’s wrong with social justice warriors. They’re not interested in justice. They’re interested in clicks,” said the liberal host.

Maher went on to point out that social media has created outrage mobs that try to scalp anyone who doesn’t repeat the same glib talking points, when in reality everyone is “politically incorrect” in private conversations.

“What’s so exhausting about this is the lack of trust,” Maher lamented. “When we’re just with our own friends, in a place that’s not public, we’re funny, we’re politically incorrect, we all do it. And then in public, and public now means on Twitter, social media, Facebook. I always say that’s like our Avatar. It looks like us, it sounds like us, but it’s this whole other person who talks like a robot. And can’t you just trust me after all these years that I’m not on the wrong side of these issues? And it’s like, no we can’t because we’re just trying to get you, your scalp and clicks!”

Bret Easton Ellis agreed, explaining that millennial outrage culture was a backlash to Generation X, who were more cool and nihilistic.

Charles M. Blow, a New York Times opinion columnist whose far-left articles routinely trend on Twitter thanks to social justice warriors mass tweeting them, disagreed with both Maher and Ellis.
