Illegal Migrant Behind Lyon Parcel Bombing Confesses Allegiance to ISIS

Authorities originally said “motive unknown”.

Published

on

The illegal immigrant responsible for a parcel bomb attack outside a bakery in Lyon has confessed his allegiance to ISIS after authorities initially suggested his motive was unknown.

24-year-old Algerian Mohamed Hickem M. tried to detonate the IED, which was packed with ball bearings and screws, to inflict maximum damage, but the device failed to explode properly.

13 people were injured during the attack last Friday, including an 8-year-old girl, but thankfully no one lost their life.

After French authorities initially indicated that Hickem’s motive was unknown, it has now been confirmed that he was driven by his allegiance to ISIS.

According to French television, Hicken professed his support for the terror group while Le Progress reports that he also had a history of Internet searches related to Islamic jihad.

Hickem moved to France with his family two years ago but became an illegal migrant when his temporary visa expired and his application for a student visa was rejected.

Right-Wing AfD Suggests Parts of Germany are Now Under an Islamic “Caliphate”

Leftist says she would prefer to live under a caliphate than a Germany controlled by AfD.

Published

The German right-wing AfD party posted a graphic which suggested that parts of the country are now under the control of an Islamic “caliphate”.

Following the conclusion of the European elections, one of Alternative for Germany’s branches in Berlin posted an image on Facebook indicating that the western and southern states, where AfD received less support, had been taken over by Islamists.

The image showed the country split into the “republic of Germany” and the “German caliphate,” highlighted by a black banner featuring the Islamic declaration of faith.

The post, which was subsequently deleted, included the caption, “pictures speak louder than words”.

Despite receiving flak for the post, one respondent suggested she would prefer to live in an Islamic caliphate over a Germany governed by the AfD.

“If I had to live under AfD in something titled “The Federal Republic of Germany”, then I would take the green caliphate, please. There is sun and delicious food!” commented Christina Fischer.

As we previously reported, a shocking poster created by AfD Party showed a white woman being sold at an Islamic slave market alongside the words “So that Europe does not become ‘Eurabia’…Europeans vote for the AfD!”

Earlier this month, German leftists in the audience applauded death threats made against AfD during a political debate show.

John Cleese: “I Prefer Cultures That Do Not Tolerate Female Genital Mutilation”

“Will this be considered racist?”

Published

on

John Cleese hit back at critics who savaged him for a tweet in which he said that London is no longer an English city by tweeting, “I prefer cultures that do not tolerate female genital mutilation.”

As we reported yesterday, the actor came under fire from the left after tweeting “London was not really an English city any more,” explaining that his friends who visited from abroad confirmed his observation.

This prompted a deluge of condemnation, primarily from celebrities who live in the whitest areas of London and the UK. London Mayor Sadiq Khan also reacted to the comment, insisting “diversity is our greatest strength”.

However, Cleese was not cowed and doubled down with another tweet in which he asserted that some cultures were better than others.

“I think it’s legitimate to prefer one culture to another,” said the Monty Python icon. “For example, I prefer cultures that do not tolerate female genital mutilation. Will this will be considered racist by all those who hover, eagerly hoping that someone will offend them – on someone else’s behalf, naturally.”

Despite female genital mutilation being made illegal in the UK three decades ago, the first actual prosecution related to FGM only occurred earlier this year.

There are an estimated 137,000 victims of FGM living in England and Wales.

And yes, Cleese is completely correct – some cultures are better than others.

Suspect Behind Lyon Parcel Bomb Attack is an Illegal Migrant From Algeria

Authorities say motive unknown.

Published

on

The suspect behind a parcel bomb attack in Lyon, France that injured 13 people has been named as Mohamed Hickem M., a 24-year-old illegal immigrant from Algeria.

Authorities say that the motive for the attack remains unknown and they have not uncovered any links to Islamism.

Police say Hickem constructed the IED and left it outside a bakery on Friday. The parcel contained the explosive substance TATP and was packed with ball bearings and screws to inflict maximum damage.

However, the bomb only packed a “relatively weak explosive charge” and didn’t have enough force to kill anyone. The youngest victim was an 8-year-old girl who suffered superficial injuries.

Hickem moved to France with his family two years ago but became an illegal migrant when his temporary visa expired and his application for a student visa was rejected.

Interior minister Christophe Castaner said that he was in “no doubt” that Hickem was the author of the attack and that he “certainly” intended to kill. The suspect is refusing to co-operate.

More than 250 people have been killed by Islamic terrorists in France since 2015.
