Why Do Leftists Always Look Like This?

Serious question.

Published

on

Overweight or just out of shape, bad dressers, balding, short-sighted, sometimes ginger. Always angry.

Is it just that weirdos on any political fringe are generally scruffy losers who have no regard for their physical health or appearance?

Or is there another reason?

Wikipedia Has ICE Facilities Listed Under ‘Concentration And Internment Camps’ Section

Wikipedia, the online Encyclopedia, which has been routinely accused of left wing bias, has a list of ICE facilities under a section titled “concentration and internment camps,” and is keeping it there despite critics requesting it be removed.

The list of ICE facilities reappeared on the concentration camps page after Democrats, including Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, used the rhetoric to describe US holding centers on the border with Mexico.

Editors of the Wikipedia page cited the Democrats’ use of the term “concentration camp” to justify the inclusion of the ICE centers on the page.

A discussion regarding the inclusion of the centers has been closed, with the list of facilities remaining on the page.

Wikipedia policy states that another discussion with have to be opened before the matter can be reviewed again.

The way Wikipedia functions means that even unregistered users are able to add sections to pages, which can then be edited and added to by other users.

After the ICE facilities were initially added to the concentration camp page last year, media coverage by leftist entities such as Vice and Gizmodo acted as if the entries were proof that the ICE facilities are indeed internment camps.

Gizmodo called the action “a surprisingly unbiased entry that’s clearly presenting information without taking sides.”

Vice said that the ICE facilities had been listed next to “other sites of atrocity throughout history.”

The concentration camp rhetoric used by AOC and others has been slammed by actual survivors of the holocaust, and was even cited by Antifa terrorist Willem van Spronsen who was killed in a recent attack attempt on an ICE facility.

Obamas To Release Anti-Trump Movie On Netflix

Election meddling

Ahead of the 2020 election, the Obamas are set to release a documentary via Netflix that has been described by Politico as anti-Trump.

The movie, scheduled to be released this week, titled American Factory, focuses on the economy in the heartland of the US.

The review states:

The documentary, which debuts on Netflix on August 21, never mentions President Donald Trump by name—but its message is clear: Trump’s promise to reinvigorate the industrial heartland is going to take a lot more than a campaign slogan. There are no easy solutions. And if some manufacturing jobs do come back, they’re going to look nothing like they used to. Americans will have to accept a new reality to stay competitive in the global marketplace—one that they might not like, and one that Trump doesn’t acknowledge.

it’s a message that echoes Obama’s declaration in 2016 that some jobs in the manufacturing sector are “just not going to come back.”

The movie argues that Trump’s efforts to reinvigorate manufacturing have not been successful, despite there being more employed in factory jobs now than before Trump was elected.

The message is clear. The Obamas are trying to hit Trump where it matters ahead of the election, in an effort to prevent history repeating.

Last year, when the Obamas inked the deal with the streaming service, the former president declared that the projects would focus on “training the next generation of leaders.”

“I continue to believe that if we are hearing each other’s stories and recognizing ourselves in each other, then our democracy works,” Obama said at the time.

Maxine Waters Asks For Money Back From Homeless Woman on Skid Row

Bad optics.

Published

While visiting LA’s poverty-stricken Skid Row, Congresswoman Maxine Waters made sure to ask for her $10 dollars in change back after buying a book from a homeless person.

The optics weren’t great.

“Waters visited the desolate on the corner of 5th and San Pedro in the heart of the city’s Skid Row, where she touted a $13 billion bill known as the “Ending Homelessness Act,” reports the American Mirror.

Along with Rep. Al Green and a gaggle of her staff, Waters visited a “tent protest” organized by homeless activist Stephanie Arnold Williams.

“I put all these tents here, with my own money,” Williams said. “Free sewing for the community. I do high-blood pressure readings. I give shade … and a place to sit.”

After purchasing a book from Williams and forgetting her name, Waters seemed overly concerned about getting back the $10 she was owed by the homeless person.

“And she’s so creative. She set up a really nice environment here, but she’s got all these educational books. And guess what? I bought the … Langston Hughes book, $10,” Waters said, waving around a $20 bill. “I need change.”

Well, that was awkward.
