A shocking video out of Venezuela shows an armored government vehicle mowing down a group of protesters.

The footage shows demonstrators in Caracas throwing objects at the tank-style trucks.

One of the vehicles then mounts a curb and ploughs into the protesters as they attempt to flee.

Two victims who appear to be seriously injured are then dragged away by the crowd.

Another video shows one of the victims, who reportedly died.

“Venezuelan opposition leader Juan Guaido on Tuesday called for a military uprising to oust President Nicolas Maduro,” reports the Associated Press.

Australian Tennis Officials Flip-Flop On Anti-China Protests

Officials back down after being charged of “kowtowing to China” to please sponsors

Forty Eight hours after demanding that spectators at the Australian Open remove clothing and hand over signs protesting China’s Communist government, officials have reversed course and said that the garments will be allowed, with a caveat.

As we reported yesterday, the shirts and banner read “Where is Peng Shuai?”, referring to the previous disappearance of the Chinese tennis star who had accused a high ranking CCP official of sexually assaulting her.

After not being seen for weeks, Shuai reappeared looking worse for wear and immediately retracted the assault claims.

Tennis Australia officials attempted to seize the signs and have the spectators take off the shirts, saying that “it’s a condition of entry” at the tournament to not brandish “political slogans”.

However, after a huge backlash garnered media attention, and the likes of tennis legend Martina Navratilova calling Tennis Australia’s actions “cowardly,” officials have flip flopped.

TA head Craig Tiley told the Australian Financial Review that those wearing the “Where is Peng Shuai?” t-shirts would be allowed to enter on the condition that they were “not coming as a mob to be disruptive but are peaceful.”

“It’s all been a bit lost in translation from some people who are not here and don’t really know the full view… The situation in the last couple of days is that some people came with a banner on two large poles, and we can’t allow that,” Tiley added, noting that banners and signs will still be confiscated.

Australian Defence Minister Peter Dutton labelled the ban on the Peng Shuai t-shirts “deeply concerning” and called for TA to “speak up” regarding the sexual harassment issue.

New South Wales Liberal Senator Hollie Hughes also charged that TA is “kowtowing to China” because several Chinese companies are major sponsors of the Australian Open. She also labeled the body’s actions over Novak Djokovic as ‘disgraceful’.

Presumably Djokovic t-shirts are still banned from the tournament.

Spectators at the Australian Open tennis tournament have been ordered to take off and hand over anti Communist China shirts and signs, with officials saying it is a condition of entry that no political slogans be brandished.

ESPN reports that a security official was recorded Saturday seizing the material.

“The Australian Open does have a rule that you can’t have political slogans,” the official noted, adding “it’s a rule that it’s a condition of entry.”

The shirts and banner read “Where is Peng Shuai?”, referring to the previous disappearance of the Chinese tennis star who accused a high ranking CCP official of sexually assaulting her.

After not being seen for weeks, Shuai reappeared looking worse for wear and immediately retracted the assault claims.

The official at the Australian Open proclaimed that “Tennis Australia does set the rules, and regardless of what you’re saying — and I’m not saying you can’t have those views — but I am saying that Tennis Australia sets the rules here.”

“We are allowed to confiscate the shirts and the banner,” the security official declared.

    Watch:

Tennis legend Martina Navratilova called Tennis Australia’s actions “cowardly.”

“I find it really, really cowardly. I think they are wrong on this. This is not a political statement, this is a human rights statement.” Navratilova urged.

“[Tennis Australia is] just really capitulating on this issue … letting the Chinese really dictate what they do at their own Slam. I just find it really weak.” the former champion further asserted.

Tennis Australia previously confiscated Novak Djokovic signs from fans in the arena at the Open, declaring that they were “inappropriate” following the star’s detention and subsequent deportation from the country over vaccine requirements.

Video: Australian Tennis Officials Order Group To Hand Over Novak Djokovic Signs In Arena Or Leave

Tennis Australia demanded to confiscate the group’s signs because they were deemed “inappropriate”

Video has emerged of tennis fans at the Australian Open tournament being harassed by an official ordering them to hand over all their homemade Novak Djokovic signs or be thrown out.

In the wake of the Australian authorities revoking the tennis star’s visa and holding him hostage for days, it appears that fans are now not even allowed to express any support for their favourite player.

The footage shows a fan at the Rod Laver Arena in Melbourne being approached by an official who eventually admits that he has been tasked by Tennis Australia to confiscate the group’s signs because they are “inappropriate”.

The man refuses to explain why the signs are inappropriate and just keeps repeating the claim and stating “you know why.”

The signs read “Free Novak”, with one declaring that the champion player is being held ‘hostage of a communist state’.

    Watch:

YouTuber The Aussie Cossack uploaded a commentary on the incident:

Today, Djokovic has won a court hearing reinstating his visa and allowing him to leave a detention facility. However, the Australian immigration minister has threatened to re-cancel the player’s visa.

As we highlighted last week, authorities clearly planned to make an example out of Djokovic over his beliefs on vaccination as a warning to others.

The tennis champ had his possessions, confiscated, was interrogated for 8 hours, woken up while trying to sleep and subsequently forced to stay in a flea ridden ghetto hotel full of illegal immigrants and criminals.
