Apple is Punishing Apps That Try to Stop People Becoming Addicted to Their iPhones

They want you hooked.

Apple is removing or restricting apps that are designed to prevent people from becoming addicted to their iPhones.

“Over the past year, Apple has removed or restricted at least 11 of the 17 most downloaded screen-time and parental-control apps,” reports the New York Times.

“In some cases, Apple forced companies to remove features that allowed parents to control their children’s devices or that blocked children’s access to certain apps and adult content. In other cases, it simply pulled the apps from its App Store,” writes Jack Nicas.

“Can you really trust that Apple wants people to spend less time on their phones?” asked Fred Stutzman, chief executive of Freedom, a screen-time app that had more than 770,000 downloads before Apple removed it last summer.

The effort is completely at odds with Apple’s publicly stated desire to help people reduce their phone obsession.

“It is clear that there are certain apps that people can get in the mindset of just scrolling through mindlessly and continuously picking up their phones and looking to see what is happening this second,” said Apple CEO Tim Cook earlier this month.

However, Apple’s own behavior in punishing app creators who try to curb phone addiction proves Cook is being dishonest.

As the video below documents, while companies like Apple want to keep you addicted, tech elites deliberately keep their own children away from the same technology.

WOW! Is this the tastiest protein bar on the market?

New York ER Closes As Employees Refuse To Comply With Vaccine Mandate

Workers were given an ultimatum to either get vaccinated or be banned from coming to work

An emergency room in a hospital in New York ceased operation as staff walked out, refusing to go along with the COVID vaccine mandate.

A statement released by the Mount Sinai South Nassau hospital notes that workers were given an ultimatum to either get vaccinated or be banned from coming to work.

A significant number of staff chose the latter, leading to the ER in Long Beach to shut down.

“The Emergency Department in Long Beach operated by Mount Sinai South Nassau, will be closed temporarily as of 3 PM today due to nursing staff shortages,” the statement announced.

It continues, “The staffing shortage and closure of the LBED is a result of the Hospital’s compliance with the NYSDOH’s mandate… requiring the suspension of all staff working under temporary religious exemptions who could not show proof today of receiving a first dose of COVID-19 vaccination or a valid medical exemption from receiving it.”

“We regret having to take this step but the safety of our patients is always our No. 1 priority,” the statement continues, adding “This closure should not be interpreted as anything beyond what it is – a temporary measure designed to relieve current staffing challenges in our Emergency Department.”

Reports have suggested that the ER is set to reopen after the shortages were resolved, however the incident highlights the impact that enforced vaccination is having on health services.

Presumably those workers who continue to refuse to comply with the mandate will simply be replaced by new workers who will.

The vaccine mandate for health workers was announced in August by the New York State Department of Health, with religious exemptions on the whole not being granted.

The latest closure of this emergency room comes as nurses and officials at the Children’s hospital where all the kids injured in the horrific Waukesha car attack were taken revealed that treatment is being hampered by a staff shortage brought on by the COVID vaccine mandate.

Nurses, Hospital Officials: Treatment Of Kids Injured In Waukesha Car Attack Being Hampered By Vaccine Mandate

“We just don’t have enough people and [supervisors] were frantically calling in everyone they could, but it wasn’t enough.”

Nurses and officials at the Children’s hospital where all the kids injured in the horrific Waukesha car attack were taken have revealed that treatment is being hampered by a staff shortage brought on by the COVID vaccine mandate.

The sources say that the Children’s Wisconsin Milwaukee Hospital struggled to care for 18 children rushed there in the aftermath because there are no longer enough nurses or support staff available.

One nurse speaking anonymously told local media that “It was a nightmare,” adding “We just don’t have enough people and [supervisors] were frantically calling in everyone they could, but it wasn’t enough.”

“We are taking care of everyone the best we can, but it’s hard,” the nurse added.

A hospital official also noted that there are currently over 200 open positions at the site, and more than 450 across all of the institute’s campuses, primarily because people have been forced out of work by the vaccine mandate which came into effect on November 15.

The report notes that 70% of religious exemption requests were denied and some clinics have been forced to close.

“This is because of the mandate,” another hospital source said, adding “People either quit because their exemptions were denied or didn’t even bother to apply. They just started looking for other jobs.”

The report also notes that the President and CEO of the hospital are working the emergency floor because of the shortages, and that $1000 bonuses are being offered currently with Thanksgiving holiday weekend bonuses of $4,500 being offered.

Eight-year-old Jackson Sparks was named by relatives as the sixth victim to have died from his injuries after black supremacist ex-con Darrell Brooks Jr allegedly plowed into the Christmas parade. More than 60 people were injured in the massacre, which has already become non-news among mainstream outlets.

Video: Live Feed Cut As Former Pro Asks If Latest Footballer Who Collapsed Is Vaccinated

“I think everyone wants to know if he’s had the COVID vaccine?”

After another professional football player collapsed on the pitch and was rushed to hospital in England this week, one former pro who was commenting on the incident questioned whether the player had been recently vaccinated, prompting the live feed to be suddenly cut.

Sheffield United player John Fleck, who is 30 years old, suddenly collapsed away from play and had to be taken off on a stretcher after receiving lengthy treatment and being given an oxygen mask.

Fleck was kept in hospital overnight and discharged after the health scare, which mirrors many other recent incidents, including the subsequent collapse last night of yet another player, 26-year-old Adama Traore in a Champions League match.

Speaking about the incident for Talk Sport, former England international player Trevor Sinclair said “I think everyone wants to know if he’s had the COVID vaccine?”

The live feed was immediately cut, prompting viewers to ask why.

Sinclair later took to Twitter to ask the same question:

Sinclair immediately received a torrent of negative responses for merely pondering the question, despite research linking the vaccines to heart problems in some people. Others backed Sinclair up, however.

Another player, Ryan Stevenson, who used to play for the same team as Robert Fleck also courted controversy Wednesday for posting a get well soon comment along with a call for an investigation, and the comment “we all know what the problem is,” with an emoji of a vaccine needle.

“Remember when players used to collapse on the pitch all the time. Something has to be done about this,” Stevenson also wrote in the since deleted Instagram post.

Premier League legend and former England international player Matt Le Tissier has also called for an investigation into why so many players are collapsing with heart issues:

Le Tissier has been previously attacked for asking questions about the vaccines:
