Washington Post Worries About “Retaliation” Against Muslims Following Islamic Terror Attacks in Sri Lanka

Published

on

The Washington Post expressed concern about “retaliation” against Muslims following the Islamic terror attacks in Sri Lanka which targeted Christians.

The Post published an article entitled Sri Lanka’s Muslims fear retaliation after Easter attacks on Christians.

“I am just glad the Washington Post finally identified the *real* victims of the mass terror attack on Sri Lankan Christians that killed almost 300 ppl,” quipped Harry Khachatrian.

Strangely, there never seems to be any concern about “retaliation” against Christians when a white supremacist carries out a terror attack.

As we previously highlighted, following the attacks against Catholic churches in Sri Lanka, BBC News expressed concern for “nervous and afraid” Muslims.

Another article published by UK outlet LBC cited an analyst who worried that the Sri Lanka massacre “may lead to further violence against Muslims”.

Segments of the media also seemed to be more concerned about ‘right-wing’ reaction to the attack rather than the horrific atrocity itself, which killed over 300 people and has already largely been forgotten about by the press.

India: Huge Crowd Stops Islamic Cleric From Being Quarantined

That’s not social distancing.

Published

on

Video footage shows a huge crowd of Muslims in India flooding the street to prevent health authorities quarantining an Islamic scholar believed to be infected with coronavirus.

The incident took place in Balbhoonpura. The clip shows the huge mob not even attempting to practice “social distancing” as they angrily chant slogans and march through the street.

“Hundreds of Muslims came out onto the streets to prevent the Islamic cleric from being quarantined,” reports OpIndia.

“Some others were also to be quarantined. So far, 15 people in the area have been confirmed to have tested positive for the Wuhan Coronavirus, which includes 8 persons who had attended the Tablighi Jamaat in Delhi. The Imam and 14 other persons had come into contact with those COVID-19 patients, and that’s why they are needed to be quarantined and tested.”

Rumors began to spread that authorities were mistreating the Imam and other individuals, prompting the mob to swarm the streets in protest.

The crowd surrounded police and the medical team sent to the area, with local Muslim politicians having to be brought to calm them down. Some of the individuals seen protesting were members of the Deobandi School of Islam, which has been linked with Islamic extremism.

Despite the area being a hotspot for coronavirus, the Imam and the other individuals were not placed into quarantine.

Earlier this month, there was a similar incident in Pakistan where police attempted to enforce a quarantine law by closing down a mosque but were chased away by a violent mob.

A video out of Berlin also showed Muslim worshippers flagrantly violating Germany’s quarantine law and social distancing rules by congregating outside a mosque as police fail in attempting to disperse them.

Germany: Muslims Flagrantly Violate Quarantine Law to Congregate at Mosque in Berlin

Police fail to enforce social distancing as worshippers shout “Allahu Akbar.”

A video out of Berlin shows Muslim worshippers flagrantly violating Germany’s quarantine law and social distancing rules by congregating outside a mosque as police fail in attempting to disperse them.

The clip shows dozens of Muslims crowded outside the Dar-as-Salam mosque in Berlin’s immigrant-heavy Neukölln district as the Islamic call to prayer is broadcast on a loudspeaker.

The gathering is in total violation of Germany’s new lockdown law, which bans gatherings of more than two people and mandates social distancing.

At one point, a police officer tries to tell the crowd to disperse or at least stand further apart from each other, but he is totally ignored.

Large crowds are seen gathered both inside the gates of the mosque and outside spilling onto both sides of the street.

Some of the worshippers are wearing masks and gloves but most don’t have any protection.

At several points during the clip, the worshippers shout “Allahu Akbar.”

As the call to prayer ends, the worshippers walk away from the mosque and some of them are seen to be leaving in taxis and cars, proving they didn’t walk to the building.

Men are then seen hugging each other, totally ignoring social distancing measures in place to stop the spread of coronavirus.

At the end of the clip, six more police officers are seen to be doing nothing to enforce the law.

As we previously reported, when police attempted to enforce a quarantine law by closing down a mosque in Pakistan, they were chased away by a violent mob.

Throughout Europe’s “sensitive” migrant-heavy ghettos, police are finding it almost impossible to enforce quarantine and social distancing, to the point where a government official in France suggested authorities not even bother trying.

Video: Mob Violently Chases Police Away After Authorities Try to Close Mosque

Social distancing proving to be a problem in Pakistan.

Published

on

A video out of Karachi, Pakistan shows a violent mob chasing away a police car after authorities tried to shut down a local mosque as part of social distancing rules.

The clip shows a mob of hundreds of men pursuing the police cruiser while screaming and hurling rocks at the car.

“Today when police reportedly tried to stop a Friday prayer congregation at a mosque forcibly in #Karachi’s Liaquatabad, residents reacted violently,” tweeted journalist Zia Ur Rehman.

Another clip shows one of the officers wearing a mask being manhandled by the crowd.

According to the Business Recorder, “An Imam of a mosque in Liaquatabad area was holding Friday congregation prayers despite a ban imposed by the government from 12 noon to 3 pm. A large number of people also gathered in the mosque to offer Friday prayers.”

The Imam then incited the mob to attack the police, causing them to flee “in a bid to save their lives.”

A larger contingent of officers later reached the site and arrested the Imam along with three other people.

As we previously highlighted, Muslim migrants living in Europe’s “sensitive” ghettos have also largely ignored the lockdown measures.

The situation is so dire that a top government official in France suggested not enforcing the law in migrant-heavy areas and keeping shops open in order to prevent riots.
