Poll: Majority Of Brits (Including A Third Of Remainers) Want Brexit Vote Respected

Steve Watson

By ratio of 2:1, voters think it’s ‘fundamentally undemocratic’ for some MPs to try and prevent Brexit

A new survey conducted by research experts ComRes, finds that the majority of British people want the Brexit vote to be respected and want the country to leave the EU without any more delays.

Despite calls for delaying and even canceling Brexit from both members of the Labour Party and the entirety of the Liberal Democrat party, the survey finds that a majority of British people categorically do not want that to happen.

More than half of British adults, 54 percent, believe the result of the 2016 referendum should be respected, and Brexit delivered, the poll found.

Only 25 percent disagreed, and 21 percent said they didn’t know.

Even among those who voted Remain in 2016, more than a third, 35 per cent, said they now wanted Brexit delivered.

Only 29 per cent of voters said they want the process further delayed in the hope of securing a deal with the EU.

The survey noted that By ratio of 2:1, voters think it’s ‘fundamentally undemocratic’ for some MPs to try and prevent Brexit.

If Brexit were to be revoked, it is clear from these figures that there would be a massive uprising.

The poll also found that 40 percent disagree with Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn’s opposition to Prime Minister Boris Johnson’s call for a general election.

Thirty percent said they do not want an election, with the remaining 30 percent saying they do not know.

The poll also found that almost half of British voters would rather leave the EU with No Deal than have Corbyn as Prime Minister. Only 22 percent thought this was a good idea.

The survey also found that more voters agreed than disagreed that Boris Johnson should make a pact with the Brexit Party.

Here are some more findings from the survey:

Protester’s Solution to Black-on-Black Violence in South Africa; Kill Whites Instead

“Don’t kill your brother!”

A protester in Paris proposed a novel solution to the horrifying spate of black-on-black violence in South Africa by urging people to kill whites instead.

Over the last couple of weeks, black South Africans have been setting fire to other African migrants and attacking and looting foreign-owned businesses.

The violence was sparked after a South African driver was shot dead by a drug dealer who was a foreign national.

The wave of xenophobic violence prompted the Zambian Ministry of Transport and Communications to instruct Zambian drivers not to travel through the country.

Now a black protester in Paris has urged South Africans to target white people instead.

“If you want to do xenophobia right, start to kill white people, start to kill Chinese people, start to kill Asian people,” he said.

“Don’t kill you brother! Don’t kill your brother – we are all black!” he added.

“We have same blood, we have same color, so why you kill your fellow brother?” asked the man.

People in the comments on a Facebook livestream of the rant appeared to agree, with two remarking, “Respect bro.”

Study: The Only Place On Earth More Surveilled Than London Is Communist China

Steve Watson

There is no correlation between safety and surveillance

A new study by research website Comparitech has found that London is the 6th most surveilled city on the planet, with the top five cities all being in Communist China.

The study looked at 120 cities globally, and found that the top ten with most public CCTV cameras per 1,000 inhabitants were practically all in China.

Central Chinese city Chongqing tops the list with 168 public cameras per 1000 inhabitants. The study found that by 2022, China is projected to have one public CCTV camera for every two people

Another four Chinese cities, including Shanghai, make up the top five… and then it’s London with 68.4 cameras per 1000 inhabitants.

The US city of Atlanta comes in at number 10, just behind Beijing.

In considering China’s mass surveillance, the study notes that

China is also a fervent adopter of face recognition surveillance. It is often used to restrict individuals’ freedom of movement in combination with the country’s social credit system. If someone’s social credit is too low, for example, they can be barred from using certain types of public transportation. Cameras equipped with face recognition technology are put in place at transportation hubs to enforce these rules.

That could never happen in London though right? Wrong.

Between 2016 and 2018 London Metropolitan police used facial recognition cameras indiscriminately around Kings Cross station, and only stopped when legal challenges were made.

It is not yet known how the images from the cameras were used.

So with that amount of cameras in London, it must be one of the safest places on the planet right?

LOL. No.

Comparitech said that they found no connection between lower crime rates or a heightened feeling of security and surveillance in the cities surveyed.

That’ll explain all the stabbings. Last year was London’s bloodiest in a decade – when the number of homicides reached 132 – and the violence continues to plague the capital with 2019 set to eclipse that record.

As of September 6, there have been 99 violent deaths in the capital.

Twenty teens have been killed in the capital this year, 18 of whom were fatally stabbed.

But London mayor Sadiq Khan says the city is ‘open’.

Open to record violence and Communist Chinese levels of surveillance. Nice.
