France: Statue of Virgin Mary Decapitated

Nearly 900 churches in France targeted in 2018 alone.

A statue of the Virgin Mary was decapitated in a small French village yesterday, the latest in a deluge of anti-Christian attacks in France which numbered almost 900 in 2018 alone.

The statue, located in the commune of Marlhes, was beheaded despite being made of cast iron with metal reinforcements.

According to a report by LeProgres, the vandals “had to be well equipped” to cause the damage. It had already been damaged last year as a result of a fire.

The local resident’s association has vowed to repair or replace the statue. The perpetrators have not been caught.

The incident occurred just 48 hours after the tragic fire at the Notre Dame cathedral in Paris.

As French journalist Maxime Lepante pointed out, while the reaction in the media to mosques being vandalized is one of horror, with the perpetrators being swiftly caught, attacks on Christian sites are met with far less concern.

“Two churches were vandalized per day,” said Lepante, adding, “This government, this regime….including the Pope, including the cardinals, shut their mouth, say nothing when our churches are being vandalized, and in contrast, the minute there is a mosque that has a pot of pork sausage in front of it, there’s immediately arrest and prison for the person who did it….apologies from the whole of France, the stigmatization of racism and so on, it’s an absolutely unbearable double standard!”

There were 1062 anti-Christian acts in 2018 in France, compared to just 100 anti-Muslim acts. Throughout 2018, no less than 875 churches in France were targeted.

Huge Blast Near Sri Lankan Church as Authorities Tried to Defuse Bomb

Claims of “controlled explosion” look doubtful.

Video footage shows a huge blast ripping apart a vehicle near a church in Sri Lanka as a bomb squad tried to defuse a device left in a parked van.

Media reports said the blast was a “controlled explosion,” but it looks anything but controlled.

The device was located near St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Colombo — one of three Christian sites targeted during the wave of attacks on Sunday.

“Though it appears police had cordoned off the area, interestingly in the video produced by Reuters a police officer or bomb tech can be seen running away from the van seconds before it explodes, which suggests something may have gone wrong,” reports Zero Hedge.

The explosion confirms fears that more bombs could be hidden in urban areas following the discovery of a large pipe bomb at the country’s main international airport yesterday.

Venezuela: Garbage Trucks Being Used to Transport People to Hospital

“This is saddening”.

A video out of Venezuela highlights how sick people are being transported to hospitals in garbage trucks.

“There are no ambulances in Venezuela,” states the man filming the video, as an injured person is seen in the back of the truck.

“A garbage truck transporting a wounded person – this only happens in Venezuela,” he adds.

The clip then shows the man being lifted out of the truck and carried into the hospital as the narrator says, “This is saddening.”

“We don’t need humanitarian aid here,” he jokes sardonically.

As we reported last week, violent crime is skyrocketing in the country. Another video shows a dead person, who was reportedly shot, being stripped of their clothing as people scream in the background.
