BuzzFeed Caught in Huge Lie About Notre Dame Fire

Claim video showing people reacting with smiley emoticons was a “hoax” when it was completely legitimate.

BuzzFeed lied about the reaction to the Notre Dame fire by claiming that a perfectly legitimate video showing respondents posting smiley emoticons in response to the blaze was a ‘hoax’.

It wasn’t a hoax.

In an article entitled Here Are The Hoaxes And Misinformation About The Notre Dame Fire, BuzzFeed’s Jane Lytvynenko wrote the following;

“InfoWars contributor Paul Joseph Watson tweeted a link to video that claims to show Muslim people celebrating the fire. Watson was amplifying content from a far-right personality named Damien Rieu.”

“Critically, the video in question does not show what people on Facebook were reacting to. It’s also difficult to know the religion of each person reacting to a video en mass. So we really have no idea what was going on here, and there is no proof to back up this claim.”

This is an outright lie. The video in question does show what people on Facebook were reacting to.

Here’s the video I posted.

And here’s the original Facebook video.

As you can see from the original, the respondents are clearly reacting to the Notre Dame fire.

Here’s a screenshot of the ‘smiley face’ responses as they still exist on the original video.

By claiming this to be a “hoax,” BuzzFeed is itself perpetrating a hoax.

Apparently, Lytvynenko thinks that placing a yellow ‘NOPE’ sticker across the tweet invalidates its accuracy. It doesn’t.

BuzzFeed’s Ryan Broderick also lied in claiming the video was “sourceless”. It wasn’t sourceless. The source is the embedded original Facebook video above.

In addition, France 24 Arabic’s Facebook page is awash with comments from respondents writing in Arabic celebrating the fire, as can be seen from the screenshot below.

I gathered these comments from just two threads out of numerous threads on the fire.

Does this mean all Muslims are celebrating the fire? No.

Does it mean BuzzFeed is lying when they claim I am inventing this reaction?

Yes.

Instead of denouncing this vile rhetoric, BuzzFeed is claiming I made it up.

This is why fewer people trust the media. This is why BuzzFeed is having to lay off staff.

The invent outright falsehoods without conducting any proper research in order to demonize their ideological enemies.

New Study Finds America Became LESS Racist After Donald Trump Was Elected

Post 2016 environment saw “declining prejudice and racial resentment”.

Published

on

A new study by two University of Pennsylvania sociologists has found that America became statistically LESS racist after the election of President Donald Trump in 2016.

The study sought to answer whether Trump’s use of “negative rhetoric targeting ethnic/racial minorities” led to a normalization of prejudice and Americans making racist comments.

Using a population-based sample of Americans between 2008 and 2018, the study disputed the claim that Trump’s behavior encouraged Americans to be more openly racist and found that the post-2016 environment was characterized by “declining prejudice and racial resentment”.

“We find that via most measures, white Americans’ expressed anti-Black and anti-Hispanic prejudice declined after the 2016 campaign and election, and we can rule out even small increases in the expression of prejudice,” the study found.

The study contradicts the media narrative that Trump’s presidency has caused more division in the country – the opposite appears to be the case.

Contrast this to Obama’s presidency, which was supposed to heal racial divides yet ended in numerous racially charged riots in places like Ferguson and Baltimore.

Mark Zuckerberg hates it when you share this article on Facebook.

YouTube’s ‘Trending’ Tab is Rigged in Favor of Big Media

Study proves Google-owned video platform is deliberately burying independent creators.

Published

on

A study by a student at the University of Glasgow proves that YouTube’s ‘trending’ tab is heavily rigged in favor of big corporate media networks.

The study included 40,000 data entries and sought to answer the question “is YouTube biased towards traditional media?”

The answer is undoubtedly yes.

The study showed that independent creator Philip DeFranco, who produces a daily news show, appeared on the trending tab only twice despite amassing an average of 1.4 million views per video, while AP, which averages 10,000 views per video trended seven times.

In all, 95% of all videos from news creators that appeared on the trending tab came from legacy media outlets.

Despite having the most subscribed channel by far in the United States, PewDiePie only appeared on the trending tab in the U.S. once compared to 45 times in Canada, proving that the U.S. trending tab is being curated to exclude him.

Other creators who routinely post viral content, such as Joe Rogan, didn’t trend once in the United States despite in Rogan’s case trending 74 times in Canada.

Corporate network ‘comedy’ shows which routinely push left-wing political narratives like Jimmy Kimmel and Stephen Colbert appeared dozens of times on the trending tab.

As we have previously highlighted, YouTube openly rigs its own search engine to exclude independent news content creators, burying them under a wall of mainstream media videos.

It seems clear that the video giant has removed the ‘you’ from YouTube and has now set about creating CorporateTube to the detriment of the independent creators who built it in the first place.

Left-Wing Beer Company Tells Customers to Hit People Over the Head With Bricks

Then whines about receiving email “threat”.

Published

An openly left-wing beer company told its customers to hit people over the head with bricks before whining about receiving an email “threat”.

Chorlton Brewing Company, which is based in Manchester in the UK, reacted to Nigel Farage having a milkshake thrown at him by tweeting, “Note to our customers: please don’t throw our beer over fascists. Hit them over the head with a brick as is traditional.”

The tweet prompted a massive backlash but has not been deleted. The company then doubled down, proceeding to insult many of the respondents.

The owner, Mike Marcus, proceeded to argue that violence was acceptable in order to prevent “genocide”.

In a hilarious twist of irony, having endorsed violent attacks against people for having a different opinion, the company then whined about an email “threat” they received which simply stated, “You people are asking for trouble.”

The response was swift.

The company’s Google Review page was also flooded with negative feedback and 1 star ratings.

As we previously reported, after the media endorsed political violence, several right-wing MEP campaigners have been milkshaked, but leftists are now calling for acid attacks against Nigel Farage.
